How do you pay?

The system is managed by a platform, accessible via a dedicated website, which provides detailed information on the contribution: https://cda.ve.it/it/

For all those not covered by the exclusion and exemption conditions, an early booking incentive has been introduced. This incentive provides a €5.00 fee only to those who pay the entrance fee by the fourth-last day (inclusive) before the day of entry. Conversely, those who pay the entrance fee within three days prior to the day of entry will be charged €10.00.

The €5 payment can be made even the day before your visit. Once you’ve completed registration and selected your visit date, you’ll receive a voucher with a QR code certifying your payment (this code must be presented to authorities in case of inspections). Those wishing to request an exemption must still register online and obtain the relevant code. Those who don’t have access to the online platform can pay directly at some physical locations, such as Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia train station, and numerous tobacconists throughout Italy.
